Festival Events

In April, Over-the-Rhine International Film Festival organized by LADD and the Contemporary Arts Center will presents a retrospective film screening and discussion celebrating the life and work of Oscar-winning director Julia Reichert led by her husband and filmmaking partner Steven Bognar. OTR Film Festival artistic director tt stern-enzi will join Bognar in a discussion of Reichert's life and the impact of her work following the film retrospective. Reichert, who died on December 1, 2022, spent five decades making films centered on workers’ and women’s rights.

Bognar and Reichart received the 2020 Academy Award for Best Documentary for "American Factory." The couple resided in Dayton, Ohio, where Bognar still lives. More information, including how to secure tickets for the event, coming soon.

• Please prepare a 2 page scene, monologue, song, or other performance piece (if a scene please bring a copy for one of our team to read/sign with you).
• An ASL Interpreter will be in the audition room with us all.
• Audition facilities are fully accessible, including parking directly in front of the theatre.

Join us to kick off the 2023 film festival with a star studded Opening Night Gala and Film.  The night kicks off with the Gala at 6:00 followed by the Opening Night Movie. One tickets gets you into the entire night
