Freedom Film Series

WHAT: Screening of the film I Didn’t See You There
WHERE: The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center
WHEN: Tuesday, November 8th at 6:00 pm.

Spurred by the spectacle of a circus tent that goes up outside his Oakland apartment, a disabled filmmaker launches into an unflinching meditation on spectacle, (in)visibility and the corrosive legacy of the freakshow. This groundbreaking work from first time director Reid Davenport is shot entirely from the filmmaker’s literal, physical perspective both from his wheelchair and his two feet.

Stay for a post film discussion!

Doors open at 5:30 and the film begins at 6 pm. Directions and Parking information for the Freedom Center:
