Venues accessibility & Parking

The 2025 Film Festival will host screenings and events from March 6-8 at seven locations throughout Over-the-Rhine, Downtown and The Banks. Below is a detailed description of each location, including parking options, accessible amenities and links to location-specific schedules. Film screenings at all locations will include open captions and an ASL interpreter. Foreign language films will also feature audio description assistance. To request audio descriptions for a specific screening or film block, please email info@otrfilmfest.org.

The Art Academy of Cincinnati (AAC) is a community gathering place for artistic work and urban problem-solving. Its event and exhibition space, Site 1212 is located on the first floor with its entrance off of Jackson Street.

  • Food will be pre-set in individual boxes along with a pre-set dessert
  • Movie theater candy will be in swag bags pre-set at tables
  • Movie theater popcorn will be made on-site and served before the start of the movie.

Music Hall, commonly known as Cincinnati Music Hall, is a classical music performance hall in Cincinnati, Ohio, completed in 1878. It serves as the home for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Opera, May Festival Chorus, and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra.

  • Accessible parking is available at 21C Hotel Valet, which is located on Walnut St, right around the corner from CAC’s entrance. Please notify the valet and 21C front desk staff that you are there for CAC-accessible parking to receive a $10 rate (available during valet hours only, please call 21C ahead to confirm availability)

Entry and General Navigation:

  •  CAC’s entrance is located at street level, in the middle of the building on 6th Street. The entrance has an automatic door. You will enter the glass doors and turn right, moving through another set of glass doors. Please proceed to OTR Film Festival registration desks upon arrival.
  • Restrooms: Accessible restrooms are located on all floors except the lobby. All floors are available via elevators. The elevator located to the right in the lobby offers access to the lower-level lobby and event space.
  • Service Animals: Service dogs and ponies are welcome. A service animal is defined as any animal that has been trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of a person with a disability.
  • Accommodations/Services: All of the following are available free of charge at the front desk: Wheelchairs, stools, hearing amplifiers, reading glasses, magnifiers, sensory bags (fidgets, hearing protection, sensory narrative and sensory map), any of the sensory bag objects are also available individually.

The Cincinnati Museum Center is a museum complex operating out of the Cincinnati Union Terminal in the Queensgate neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. It houses museums, theater, a library, and a symphonic pipe organ, as well as special traveling exhibitions.

  • Union Hall’s entrance is located on street level on Vine Street. You will enter through the main glass doors and go straight down the hall, following the signs directing you to elevators and a bank of elevators to the Beer Hall on the second floor.
  • Restrooms: Accessible restrooms are located on all floors except the lobby. All floors are available via elevators. A wheelchair-accessible elevator to the left of the lobby elevators offers access to the second-floor restrooms and event space.

  •  Upon entrance, guests can take elevators or stairs to the Beer Hall located on the second level of Union Hall.
  • The box office will be located on the second floor.

The Woodward Theater, built in 1913 as a theater in the Beaux-arts style, opened as a silent film house. It was named in honor of William Woodward, who purchased the land the theater sits on in 1796. The Woodward delights in celebrating the art form of film and viewers will enjoy state-of-the-art projection, sound, and screen equipment.
